Originating somewhere in the depths of the green forests, the small river falls down from a height of 32 ft, and attracts a large number of tourists. The lower Ghaghri is a twin of the Upper Ghaghri waterfalls with trees standing tall on its sides and forms a protective umbrella to the surroundings.
5.Sunrise Point
It is situated in the eastern part of Netarhat and known for its sunrise in the mornings.

6.Pine forest
Trek through the Pine forest, enjoy the journey as you'd love the nature as it accompanies you throughout your walk. It is mostly colder here, slightly more pleasant than the rest of the city.
It used to be the governor's permanent summer station till sometime back.

How To Reach?
By Air:-
The nearest airport is the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi which is around 156 km away from here. The airport is well connected to most of the main cities within the country with regular flights operating from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
By Train:-
The closest major railroad station is Ranchi railroad station which is around 155 km faraway from Netarhat. The station has regular trains connecting to all or any of the main stations within the country.
By Road:-
Netarhat is well connected by road; there are many buses which are government owned also as private buses plying regularly from Ranchi.
As it is an offbeat tourist destination, it's advisable to not stray into deserted areas even once you are travelling during a group. Ask for permission before taking photographs of tribal people. Woollens are required in winter. Carry mosquito/insect repellents and essential medicines.

To get bookings of Forest bungalow , one should approach DFO of Latehar. Another accommodation one can get from the jharkhand govt’s tourist bungalow- Hotel Prabhat Vihar,Netarhat, which can be booked from their Ranchi office.
